Wakey Wakey, Eggs and Bakey!

My good friend Tyler Reid hit me up Saturday to take the skis out on base. Saturday was overhead but with a passing storm the conditions were pretty sloppy. We assumed Sunday was going to be a lot cleaner, which it was. However the swell had completely died. All we were left with was cold offshore wind, flat light, and numb hands. I jumped off the ski as Tyler and Jay were doing step-offs. With life-jacket on I felt like shark bait in the murky water, just waiting to become breakfast for a big fish. Luckily both Jay and Tyler were over it and they swooped me up and we got out of there. Hopefully we will go again soon and not get so skunked.
