Sometimes it’s too hot to continue your daily routine in Central America. More often than not the locals stop what they are doing and just lounge around. I have come to appreciate these “siestas” and wish Americans would embrace that part of Latin American culture. This photo was shot late in the afternoon right as the locals are about to get their day started again and head back to work. They more often than not work late into the night as the temperatures drop and it is more bearable to be outside.
