Diablo

Another reef in the Indian Ocean that doesn’t really receive a lot of attention. Every other spot this day had funky winds and wrong swell direction. We boated around to about three different spots before we pulled up here. Almost like clockwork, the clouds broke and the sun started beating down. It was by far the hottest day yet. We dropped anchor and paddled out to be joined by two men building a bar on the island. Everyone traded waves until late morning when it got a little too hot to surf. That was my cue as well as our captains to drop what we were doing and surf by ourselves while everyone cooled down on board.
