Morning glow

Fall is my favorite time to be a Californian. The temperature starts to cool down, people start heading back to school and work, and slowly things return to normal down at the beach. Santa Ana winds start blowing early in the morning and we get swell from both the Southern and Northern hemisphere. Living in San Diego offers up some really good waves this time of year. Days like this I swim out with my 35mm camera with some color slide film and wait for that ‘moment.’ Of course you never really know if you nailed it until the film gets back from the lab. I was pretty stoked on this one when I opened up my slides and started peering through them.
